I've tried everything at the stores too and this one is the best so far. [I just don't understand why Flexees doesn't make the Flexees Body Briefer with firm control - who needs "everyday control?"] This torsette lets you wear your own bra which I really like because a lot of those other briefers have weird bras - either no support or cardboard-thick cups. The only thing that's not great is the 2 straps that I now have over each shoulder, and sometimes the bra strap and the torsette strap are just too much and they bunch together. One might be a bit tighter and the other looser. So - not perfect.

you won't want to wear this undergarment with slim dresses or pants made from thinner fabrics because it is constructed with seams running up the middle of the "buttcheek" area. I bought this to wear underneath a slim poly/spandex blend dress, but the seams created unsightly lines, so I had to wear my trusty old "Liposuction in a Box."
This would be a good garment for use under jeans or suits.

I wear a size 8, and bought a medium, and it was so tight I felt like I was losing blood flow to my extremities. It was also so tight that it did not smooth me out, but created a crease at my back waist that looked terrible. I will try a large, but seriously, who are these made for? Tiny, skinny women who need a body slimmer?

Tried all of them from $100 spanks to $20 walmart and everything in between and this is simply the best. I can wear my own bra, but it still stays put. It gives all the smoothing I need, and is very comfortable. A++

After five kids I needed A LOT of support. I tried this one on at Kohls and loved it. I ordered it from Amazon because the price was a little better. The support is great because it smooths you out from under your arm down and firmly supports your back, waist and stomach. Having the option of wearing your own bra is so great and makes wearing a girdle like this more comfortable. The two things that I don't like about this girdle are the straps and the crotch. The straps are narrow and after while dig into your shoulders and really hurt. The straps should be a little wider since the girdle supports your whole torso. The other thing is the crotch is great because it unfastens for convenience but it hooks right under your butt and makes going to the bathroom a pain. I almost wet myself the first time I wore it trying to unhook it. If it fastened closer to the front that would make this girdle a winner.
