I have been looking for Vanity Fair gowns and pajamas for months. Thought I had finally found it. Unfortunately, the material is so thin and does not wash well, it shrinks. I am so disappointed as I purchased two gowns and two pairs of pajamas. The pajama buttons will not stay closed, very frustrating. I am so disappointed that the material is not as thick as it used to be. Really shouldn't be called Vanity Fair!

When I received my gown I was sorely disappointed...Vanity Fair Coloratura Plus Size Short Gown - 30-807
The gown is made of a very thin, cheap nylon fabric...even though in the picture, everything looks as though it's fine quality nylon.
I would be afraid of the thing falling apart as I turn in my sleep ...I'm positive it would look extremely raggedy at first wash if in fact you still had kept it.
I think it's worth $5.00...not any more...something you'd find at a bargain basement...This does not even deserve the one star that is printed here...but the computer won't allow me to do erase the one star.
It had a good original appearance until you wear it, but it isn't the same durable nylon vanity fair is known for.I compared it with my old ones of last year. It was EMBARRASSING to model my new black sexy gown to my husband when all the while for hours the static cling of the gown stuck and crawled up my body until I finally thought of spraying it with static cling spray....don't be fooled...you can buy something better at a thrift store for ALOT less money!

This is my favorite gown, especially when it is warm. I have it in 4 colors. It is very comfortable and never gets tangel up in the bed. I also have the matching robe in black and always travel with it. Great basic gown. I wish it came in more dark colors.
