I can say that the adjustability has this be THE TOY for me. The wand and dial are great alone but if you have the love seat you have even more versatility. I can kick back or go for a ride that leaves me breathless!

My gf has a wand and for a long time she would have to choose between slow and fast, which frustrated her. I went ahead and bought this for her and she has loves her wand even more now that she has more than 2 speeds. It has worked great and is a MUST for any wand owner.

As previous reviewers have mentioned the Hitachi Wand or other wands for that matter have two problems short cords and only two speeds. Add this item to that and now my wife's favorite toy has a long cord and multiple speeds....I can honestly WORTH the $$$
FYI read reviews on this item before I purchased and I bought that dimmer other reviewer had mentioned and it sucks!!

*** Three stars for use as a shop motor speed controller (a shop accessory in purple, with "Trinity Vibes" on the label?)
This is a re-labeled speed control for a wood router or other shop motor, capable of controlling a 15 amp (1800w) electric motor. Aside from the Trinity Vibes label, it actually appears identical to the router speed controller sold by Harbor Freight. The Speedster Fan Speed Control And it is the same price that HF sells it for. Plug a drill or a router into it, and it works just fine. Brushless-motor fans work, but they hum audibly at lower speeds.
The problem is, the Hitachi Magic Wand is 0.15 amp (20w) motor. This means, with the speed control all the way up, plugging the Hitachi into it on variable speed loses 15%-20% of the Hitachi's high speed, and a TINY turn of the dial takes the Hitachi down WAY below its low speed.
It's not a bad product - it is just totally unsuitable for the advertised use.

As a lady who adores her WAND, I decided to purchase this based on reviews of the wand regarding its being limited by "two discreet speeds." I love the WAND as it is, and use it that way often. But love it MORE with the variable speed controller. It extends it's usage possiblies regarding areas your are targeting, and also the range of vibratory stimulation and ability to "tease" with it. It always delivers for me, with or without a partner. You can always detach it from the variable controlled if you want that MAX SPEED. I like the lower speeds for F/Play.
